Woodworking Router Bits

Our neighbor has a huge woodworking shop at the basement of their house.  He got an accident  a couple of months ago and almost chopped off one of his finger.  I think he was trying t finish u the job that he was doing even if he was very tired already.  He accidentally slid his finger  while cutting a piece of wood and one of his finger got caught in the edge of the blade.  It was bloody!  His finger  is healed up now but part of the skin that got chopped  is still trying to grow.  He showed us how it happened  and also mentioned the  Top brand available router profiles.  Most of our neighbors here  works in the mill before so they are very skilled.  Whenever we have a project at home, they are always  lending a hand to help.    They were a big help when we did the fence around the house.  They even lent us  the tools that we need in doing the job.

5 tips to help your teenage kids to decide their field of study

One of the biggest decisions that a teenager has to make is deciding which field to study in college. For many teens, this can be a difficult decision. Some teens have many interests that are hard to narrow down. Other teens may not be passionate about any particular fields. Here are some tips that you can use to help guide your teen down the path to choosing a major in college:

1. Stimulate the thought process

If your child mentions a specific field of study that he or she is interested in, ask them why they are interested in it. For example, if the teen mentions that they want to major in economics, ask them what kind of job they would want to get with that degree after they graduate college. The object is to get your teen to seriously think about their life and career 10 years down the road. You want them to consider if they would be happy in a certain career for an extended period of time. After your teen has had some time to ponder these issues, they may decide against going down a career path that they were previously considering.

2. Identify areas of interest

If your teen is finding it difficult to choose a major, ask them to tell you all the careers that they have thought about pursuing. Do not make them feel pressured to make a decision just to get it out of the way. However, you need to stress the importance of this decision on their life. Have your teen make a list of potential careers and then make a list of positives and negatives for choosing that career. A list like this can be a useful tool in allowing the teen to fully understand the impact of the choice they are making.

3. Incorporate a financial component

You need to have your teen consider how much money they will be making in their chosen profession. There are many websites where salary information for various careers can be found. If your teen finds out the salary of a chosen career is not as high as they had hoped, they may reconsider their decision.

4. Encourage discovery

After your teen has focused on a degree choice, have them explore exactly what that degree can do for them. Many college websites have lists of degrees with corresponding careers. This would be a good place for your teen to start. By doing this type of research, your teen may discover a potential career that they had never considered before. For example, Workplace Health Manager is a sought after job offered by many large corporate. One can become a Workplace Health Manager by obtaining an HBA Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety

5. Develop a plan

Once your teen has narrowed the focus of the careers that they are interested in, help them with setting up a realistic plan with which they can use to obtain their goal. This plan will involve choosing a college that has a respected degree program in the area of study your teen is interested in. You will also need to look into financial and academic requirements for attending that college.

How To Have A Romantic Night Out On A Budget

Do you want to take your special someone out for a nice evening, but you are low on funds? If so, then you will be pleased to know that you do not have to spend a lot of money to show your significant other a good time. Below are some tips that will help you have a romantic evening on a budget:

Cook Dinner At Home

Instead of spending a lot of money on restaurant food, you should consider cooking for your significant other at home. Your significant other may appreciate you even more if you take the time to make a meal at home. You can make this dinner even more romantic by dimming the lights and lighting candles.

Go For A Walk

After you have dinner with your sweetheart, you should go for a walk. Going for a walk is a very inexpensive and cheap way to have a romantic evening with your sweetheart. You should take a walk at a park or on the beach and view the scenery.

Go See A Drive In Movie

Watching a movie together is another great way to spend the evening with your significant other. Most drive-in movie theatres charge half of the price of regular movie theaters. You may reminisce on the days of your youth as you sit in the front of the car or lay on your blanket with your sweetheart and enjoy your movie.

Go To A Dance Club

If you are not interested in seeing a movie, then you should consider taking your sweetheart dancing. Most dance clubs only charge a few dollars. Additionally, many dance clubs stay open until two or three in the morning, so a dance club is a great choice if you and your partner enjoy the nightlife.

Pamper Your Sweetheart

At the end of your evening, you should pamper your sweetheart. You can give him or her a massage. You can also make dessert for him or her. Furthermore, cuddling is another great way to end a romantic evening.

Just because you are low on funds does not mean that you cannot have fun with that special someone in your life. You do not have to go out to an expensive restaurant because you can cook for your special someone at home. You can also take your sweetheart for a walk in the park or on the beach. Dance clubs and drive-in movie theatres are two inexpensive places that you can go with your special lady or man. After you take your sweetheart out, you should conclude the evening by presenting them with Valentines Day Flowers and pampering him or her.

5 Must-Have Camera Accessories for a Wedding Photographer

When you are a wedding photographer, there are some essential accessories you will need to shoot the wedding. You cannot just show up with a camera and expect to do a good job. You have to be properly prepared to capture perfect images in a variety of situations. The wedding day is a special day that only comes around once in a lifetime for the happy couple. You need to treat the day like the important occasion it is. Be sure to bring along the following five accessories to make sure that you shoot the event well. If you are missing one of the following items, many photography store should have them such as Snappit Digital Cameras and Accessories.

1. Tripod

This is an essential accessory for wedding photographers to capture images in low light situations. For example, many couples like to have the reception in a dimmer setting that sets a romantic mood. You will want to use slower shutter speeds in these situations to capture crisp images. When you are using slower shutter speeds, the tripod will keep your camera perfectly still to avoid blurring the image.

2. Flash

Along with the tripod, you will also need to have a good flash to help you shoot under the dimmer conditions that you will encounter in most reception halls. For example, when you are capturing images of the newlywed couple having their first dance, they will be dancing in dim lighting. You cannot use a slower shutter speed in this situation because it will result in blurry images. You need to have a very strong flash along that will allow you to shoot with fast shutter speeds in low light conditions.

3. Flash Battery Pack

When you are taking pictures at the reception, you will be capturing moments that only happen once in a lifetime. You will not have another chance to take these pictures again. You need to captures as many images as you can as quickly as possible. A flash battery pack will help you do this. It allows you to use the flash much more rapidly. The flash battery pack quickly recharges the flash, allowing it to be used much more often.

4. Memory Cards

Of course, you will be capturing thousands of images over the course of the wedding and the reception. You will need several memory cards to hold all of these high definition images. Make sure to use high quality memory cards to avoid losing any of the images. Remember that these images are priceless. If you use a generic memory card that loses some of the images, they can never be replaced.

5. Lens Pen

This is an essential tool for the wedding photographer. A lens pen is a device that allows you to quickly remove any smudges or particles that you find on your camera lens. One side of the lens pen is a brush to quickly remove dust or other particles. The other side of the lens pen is a cleaning tip that quickly and safely removes any smudges that you find on your lens. Between the two sides, you should be able to keep your lens clean at all times.
